A great view from the top: Buchanan Street

When we went to view this property, our cars reminded us that it was a bit of a grind to get to the top of Baldwin Street, but it was worth it.

This section is a bit special. It is located at the top of the steepest street in the world, with quite the view over North East Valley, and it is an absolute sun trap. The sections we bought has one existing house and six titles.

We only settled on this property in September 2024, but plans are already well underway. The existing three bed house has been matched to a buyer.

We have Resource Consent to subdivide and develop the remaining five titles. We will be putting two duplexes on the site. Patersons have been hard at work surveying, planning and designing the site and its services. We will be contracting the civil works to Pro Civil. These duplexes were designed by Bunnings and are being built by Whitestar Construction.

We are will underway with the detailed design, it is going to be an exciting to site to work on.
