A hidden gem in Mosgiel: McFadden Drive

In December 2024 we settled on our section out in McFadden Drive Mosgiel. This site was a rare find, a site with a resource consent to subdivide already in place, and two relocated building on two of the new lots. We got straight to work to renovate the existing buildings and built five new houses on the other lots.

Whitestar Construction undertook the renovation work for the relocated homes. These homes moved onsite since 2013. We completely renovated them with new windows, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and a full repaint. We upgraded existing insulation to ensure these homes are super cosy for their new owners. We also put a deck on each house, to give great indoor-outdoor flow. These houses have been sold and are being enjoyed by their new owners.

The team at Latitude have undertaken building the five new houses. We have three new three-bed houses and two new four-bed houses going onsite. Four of these new builds are in progress. We expect to be selling the first ones in August 2026.
