Building a community: Kaikorai Valley

We have been lucky to buy some great sections close to Dunedin central and this subdivision is one of them. Our houses are part of a much larger subdivision that will go up the hill on the west side of Kaikorai Valley. DRDL 2023 are building fifteen houses (six duplexes and three single dwellings).

We have worked with Bunnings' Clever Living for the design of the duplexes, which are currently being built by Whitestar Construction. The build for these started in July 2025, they are progressing well and we are looking forward to getting first home buyers into these later this year (2026). Pro Civil have been working alongside Whitestar Construction to do the earthworks, install services and finish off the carriage way and parking area.

For our remaining lots up the hill, we are working with Breens Construction who have designed and will build three three-bedroom houses. We intend to start this work in September 2026.

As you drive along Kaikorai Valley Road near the high school, keep an eye on progress.
