Our largest land acquisition to date (March 2026) was the purchase of The Farm up in Calton Hill. This large 15-acre section is a suntrap which has exciting possibilities.
In order to get survey work, HAIL and Geotech investigation completed we had to clear the section of gorse. This work revealed a number of secrets that the site was hiding under gorse over 6 ft tall!
Our Master Plan has been completed for this subdivision, which shows we can have upwards of 65 sites. We applied our Resource Consent for this site back in June 2025, and we expect to have the outcome of this soon. We already have our necessary ORC consents to get started. Once we have all our consents we will be working with our contractors to figure out the correct staging for the project.
This is a big project, so we are taking our time to make sure we get things right.
